A study by The Carbon Trust has recently found nearly half of the top companies in the UK fail on setting targets for their greenhouse gas emissions, despite years of legislation and campaigning against it. These figures are strongly in opposition to current UK carbon dioxide legislation, where the government has set some of the world's most stringent targets in Europe.
