1e and cisco team up to extend it energy use oversight

Cisco has announced it is continuing to promote its energy management agenda with its recent partnership with UK-based 1E. WEEE Systems believes that while the partnership will highlight the amount of energy different devices use and how they can be managed more efficiently, it is also essential for organisations to have a complete view of its ICT infrastructure and equipment; understanding the most efficient and cost-effective time to replace or retire its E&E equipment that can directly impact its bottom line. WEEE Systems’ Proactive Asset Lifecycle Management (PALM) service can implement a strategy for CEOs, CFOs and CIOs to collaborate demonstrably to ensure that ICT spend and use is optimised.
