Catalytic converter theft is on the rise due to the high market value of the precious metals they contain. Crime reduction officer, Graham Anthony, is calling for motorists to protect their converters by welding them on rather than having them bolted to the exhaust.

However, considering that platinum is currently at an all-time high and worth about £960 per oz and palladium has reached a peak of £360 per oz, it demonstrates the legitimate revenue opportunity for leading and responsible organisations to safely and securely dispose of its e-waste and re-invest the proceeds  back into the company.
